A busy midsummer in Seville
Busy few weeks for our Seville team, deepening ties with the local creative community in Northern Seville and beyond!
On June 12th, ZEMOS98 joined the end-of-year celebration at Huerta de Santa Marina School — one of our local cultural praesidia — to present the STARTUP project to staff and students. After the presentation, they set up a stand to chat directly with families and gather their thoughts and ideas. Such a great way to bring the project closer to the people who live it every day!
Then on 23 June, ZEMOS98 and Universidad Pablo de Olavide hosted a meeting with Seville’s arts and crafts community. The turnout was fantastic, bringing together representatives from local cultural praesidia including bookshops and festival organisers, many travelling in from beyond the neighbourhood to take part.
Two brilliant reminders of what creative placemaking looks like on the ground.
