Summary

The STARTUP project (the full title Sustainable Transitions. Action Research and Training in Urban Perspective) is a four-year project funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe 2021-2027, work programme 2023-2024, dedicated to transformative urban development and creative placemaking.

This document presents its Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation (CDE) Strategy. The strategy establishes a structured approach to raising awareness of the project, fostering engagement with key stakeholders, and ensuring the long-term impact and sustainability of its results. This document outlines key implementation tools, including the project website, social media platforms, newsletter, press releases, and an open-access repository on Zenodo. It also details governance mechanisms, performance indicators, and mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in engagement and policy alignment. Through this strategy, STARTUP aspires to establish itself as a catalyst in European creative placemaking, generating substantive, transferable insights that can meaningfully contribute to the emergence of sustainable, culturally dynamic urban ecosystems.
