Startup Goes to Dortmund

We’ve just returned from a wonderful few days in Dortmund for our STARTUP consortium meeting!
Kindly hosted in the Werkhalle of Union Gewerbehof GmbH and at The ILS – Research Institute for Regional and Urban Development gGmbH,
our time together was full of connection, creativity, and collaboration.

Over the past three days we’ve:

Shared progress updates and mapped our next steps
Dove into fieldwork methods and data ethics in research
Worked together in hands-on workshops
Aligned on our upcoming trials
Paid visits to inspiring local initiatives like the aquaponics greenhouse at Union Gewerbehof and Depot Dortmund

These meetings are as much about building community as they are about advancing research, and we’ve certainly come away with fresh perspectives and deepened connections. Looking forward to our next meetup!
